Papertrey Ink Trees 'N Patterns - 2 card designs

Hi crafty friends! I have two more Christmas cards to share today. I'm almost done, but I still have a few more to make! My cards use a new Papertrey Ink stamp/die set from their November Christmas release. One card leans rustic and the other is super CAS!
All supplies used are linked below.

Both my cards use the Trees 'N Patterns stamp set which is such a fun stamp set! There are 2 tree sizes, each have 4 layers each and are a 2-step stamping with a solid stamp and a decorative stamp. There are some small stars and 4 sentiments! 💖
This card has a bit of a rustic vibe to it. I stamped the trees with the Gina K Spruce inks (light, medium and dark) I LOVE that the colors layer perfectly. I added some Snowtek to the ends of the tree layers and inked the edges of the trees and my die cut layers with Vintage Photo ink. I wanted a pop of red, so I die cut the "Merry" sentiment from red cardstock and stamped the "Christmas" in red ink. I also used some red/white twine and added a few red gems.
The background paper is from the Scrapbookcom Holiday A2 paper pad.
I had a few trees leftover and made a super CAS card with one. I cut off the bottom layer of the smaller tree and placed it over a die cut circle. I put a piece of embossed cardstock behind it for some texture. I made a circle ring from glitter cardstock and added some iridescent gems to the tree. A simple sentiment in dark green keeps the serene CAS vibe.
I love how both of these turned out!

Quick and easy!

Hi everyone!  I have some quick and easy cards to share today using the PTI's Color Couture, Volume 10 and 12.

My first 2 cards were inspired by this week's CAS102 challenge -to use the sketch by cindybstampin's card. These are all pretty simple -I seriously made all 4 in about 3 hours, which TRUST me is fast for me!!
These next 2 cards use an old layout I used from the last time I made some Color Couture cards (yeah, if it ain't broke, don't fix it I say!!).  Both of these cards use Verve's new Classy Label Die from the new A Cut Above die line.  The second card uses a tiny cupcake from the set, Birthday Bash.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Card Deets:
Stamps - Birthday basics (PTI), birthday bash (for cupcake) (Verve Stamps)
Ink - Black
Cardstock - white
Accessories - Color Couture kit, pearls and rhinestones, buttons, baker's twine, stickles, copic markers, Classy Label Die, liquid applique

For those of you interested, I have listed this set of cards in my Etsy Store, CardsbyMichelle

60 WHAT?

Please scroll down for my Stamp Simply Sweet Smells of Summer blog hop, or click here.

Hi everyone!  OK, so my sister emails me a couple days ago and lets me know her office manager wants to buy a couple cards to keep on hand for general occasions.  I think, "oh wow, this is cool" and direct her to my Etsy store.  Several hours I get an email from the office manager and she asks for 60 CARDS!!  Holy smokes!  60?!?  They want 10 each of sympathy, congratulations, baby, thank you, encouragement and blank any occasion.

WHOA!  Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the "cha-ching", cause there ARE a few stamp sets I have had my eye on for awhile, but I now have a WHOLE LOTTA cards to make in the next 2 weeks.  They all need to be done before my DH's family reunion at the end of June and then my kitchen remodel.  SOOOO, quick and cute cards are on the docket for the foreseeable future!  LOL!

Here are my first batch.  First up, I used the Embellish Magazine Labels Color challenge to make this Congrats card:

Next up are a trio of cards using PTI's Dawn's Color Couture (vol. 4-6) and Fillable Frame #4 die.  I just LOVE these, it makes making cutie cards a SNAP!  The layout of these was inspired from Heather Nichols' set of cards here.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

1 thank you
1 congrats
1 encouragement
1 any occasion

Featured Stamper and an Ippity Trio

Hi everyone!  Short post today, got lots to do!!  I have a couple cards to share.  First up is a card I made for the SCS Featured Stamper challenge.  This week, we honor nikkischmaltz. She has a fabulous gallery and I chose this cutie card to case.

I heat embossed the branch image with white EP and added a couple flower sequins for flowers. The PP is Just Chillin' Girl from Making Memories and the sentiment is from Signature Greetings from PTI.

Next up, I have a trio of CAS note cards.  Awhile ago I bought some Hero Hues folded card packages.  I bought them in Reds and Blues.  I rediscovered them when I did my stamping area clean up -BONUS!!  I haven't had much a chance to play with the Ippity set, The Simple Things, so I busted it out!

Some CAS with DCWV

Hi everyone!  Well, the time has come for me to do some serious cleaning of my craft area.  Yes I cleaned out before and found lots of stamp sets to sell, but this time I got SERIOUS, I cleaned out all my paper -including my SU! DSP and embellishments!  GASP.  Oh man, there is nothing harder than parting with the long retired Rebecca, Loves Me, Spring Flowers and all the Print Patterns from SU!.  Even though I haven't used them in YEARS, I just couldn't part with them, kwim?

I also collect, I mean bought and used, DCWV mat stacks.  I love them!  Their colors, patterns, and glittery goodness just makes me smile.  BUT, I have too many and alas, I am getting rid of them too.  BUT before I put them in the donation pile, I wanted to make 1 more card from each of them.  I chose recent layouts that were CAS and featured pattern paper.  Here is what I made last night:

From DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Girl:

From DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby boy:

From DCWV Garden Party:

From DCWV Luxury Stack:

Aren't these fun?  Lots of the things I am clearing out are barely used if at all (sad, I know).  I put some things for sale on this SCS Buy/Sell post.  Take a peek if you like.

Before I go, I wanted to mention that Rachel's store, Hope Stamps Eternal is having a 50% off all remaining supplies through tomorrow, May 31st.  The store is closing, so get the deals while you can!!

Other supplies used for these cards:
Stamps - Signature Greetings (PTI), Wishing You (Verve Stamps)
Ink - Black, Chocolate Chip and Soft Suede (SU!)
Paper - White and cream cardstock
Accessories - Taupe and Rose 1.5" silk ribbon, Prima flowers, Red Lippy, Pink and aqua rhinestones, Bliss pearls

2 Sketches is sooo sweet

Hi everyone!  My card uses the current 2S4U 52 sketch.  I admit, sometimes their sketches confuses me with all the black lines, but this one was pretty simple and I LOVED all the scalloped layers!!  I used my much neglected Basic Grey, Nook and Pantry paper and my Embossed Curve border punch.

The yellow ribbon is the 1.5" silk ribbon and isn't it bright and DIVINE?  The ENTIRE card was designed around that little flower I glued to the center.  I found them yesterday at the Dollar Tree, they are nothing special and pretty cheapo, but JUST so springy and happy!!

The sentiment is from PTI's Signature Greetings set and I used the Vintage Labels set for the Labels One outline stamp.

Stuff and stuff:
-Ippity Stamps has released their Spring Collection of 10 new stamp sets!  They are just DARLING!  Details can be found on my Ippity Sales Blog.

-My BFF Rachel is closing her store, Hope Stamps Eternal.  There is a HUGE going out of business sale of 45% off storewide.  Everything is going fast, so check it out while you can.

Card Deets:
Stamps - Vintage Labels and Signature Greetings (PTI)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - White and Wild Wasabi cardstock, Nook and Pantry (Basic Grey)
Accessories - Embossed Curve border punch (EK Success), yellow rhinestones and Copic marker (Pinkhedgehog Papercrafts), yellow silk ribbon (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store), Label One nestie

Fall to Layout and playing around with extras

Hi everyone!  I had some play time last night and made a couple cards using the left overs of a HUGE Cosmo Cricket kit I bought awhile ago.  This kit was over 2000 pieces big, it had paper, stickers, ribbons, die cuts, seriously EVERYTHING.  Lots of it I used, lots of it I made into Accessory Kits, some was given away as blog candy.  Even after all that, there was still some left!  So, now I am down to scraps and a happy girl!

This first card follows this week's Fall To Layout #89.

Here is another easy peasy card:

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #55

Hi everyone!  It's Sunday and that means it's time for another FABULOUS Cupcake Inspiration challenge from Hope Stamps Eternal!  Check out these amazing cupcakes!!

My card does NOT do these beautiful flower cuppies any justice, but I was a bit short on time!  I followed this week's Fall To Layout #86 and went with circles.  I used pattern paper from Kaisercraft's Devonshire 6x6 pad (What up!  On sale for $6.74).  I was drawn to the orange-y coral and green colors in the paper pack.

You would think that making a card with pretty much nothing but 6 circles would be easy, but NOOOOOO!  You should see my craft area -I have circles punched from just about every paper in the pad all in different sizes.  Sigh... I arranged and rearranged these little buggars for over an hour!  Please tell me I am not the only one who is a bit touched with the OCD?!?  LOL!

I also added some tiny rhinestones from the Zva Creative Round Wheel for a little extra bling (this is sold out, but there are still some Round Pearls left).  See my card base?  That is MY LAST PIECE OF SOFT SKY CARDSTOCK!!  I can't tell you how sad I am at this.  Does anyone know if Soft Sky is one of the retired SU! colors that is being brought back?  If not, I am seriously hitting the EBAY!

Everyone is invited to play along in the challenge!! If you do, be sure to link your creation to Mr. Linky on the HSE Blog and use CIC55 when uploading to online galleries . Every week, Rachel highlights the top 5!!

Before you head over to the Sweeties and see how they rocked these gorgeous cupcakes, quick announcement -Rachel is having a STORE WIDE 25% off sale!  Yeppers, every thing in the store is on sale 25% off, no code necessary.  Go check out the new Stampavie, Kaisercraft, Hambly, Zva Creative, Cosmo Cricket and much more!

Playing with Nina's sketch

Hi everyone!  I have a couple cards to share that are for Nina's Blog Anniversary sketch challenge.  I LOVE this sketch, it is actually the same sketch that I used for most of my Christmas cards last year.

Both of my cards today use the cute paper from October Afternoon, Ducks In a Row and some new goodies I got from PTI!  Love these patterns in this paper and guess what?  The blue in the patterns are a PERFECT match to PTI's new Hawaiian Shores color.  Yep, perfect match!  Happy sigh...  Oh and I just HAD to get these flower dies.  Soooo pretty!  Nicole is pure genius!

This first card uses a sentiment from Ippity's Regal Greetings set.  I used some of my fav 3/8" velvet ribbon and Split Pea rhinestones, both of which match Old Olive very nicely!

This next card uses a sentiment from PTI's Birthday Basics and a piece of crocheted trim from Webster's Pages.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great evening.

Card Deets:
Stamps - Regal Greetings, Birthday Basics
Ink - Black
Paper - Vintage cream, white, Hawaiian Shores cardstock (PTI), Old Olive (SU!), Ducks in a Row pp (October Afternoon)
Accessories - Velvet ribbon (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store), Hawaiian shores buttons and Flower dies II (PTI), corner rounder, Split Pea rhinestones (PHH)

3x3 Thank you note cards

Hi everyone! So, do you find yourself always needing small thank you note cards? I DO!! I sell {ippity} stamps and always send a personal thank you card with each purchase. Lately, I have been making a card one by one as I need it, but last night I sat down with some pattern paper scraps and went to work on a stash of them!!

How fun are these little guys? These use Julee's circle Mojo sketch (me likey!!), some PTI pattern paper scraps and the Thank you sentiment from {ippity} Just Wanted to Say. I love these!!

This next set of four all use PTI's Turning a New Leaf. (P.S. this set ROCKS!!) and a sentiment from Verve's Celebration of Thanks -that little "thanks" sentiment is perfect scale for 3x3 cards. Again, I used some of my PTI pattern paper (good grief I have a lot and NEVER use it) and some retired SU 1/4" pink grosgrain.

The key to these is quick and easy. I use punches, self adhesive gems, and scraps of already embossed paper (I keep everything). I think these turned out cute cute cute!! Now I am all set for the next 6 orders!! LOL!!

Well, that's about it. Thanks for stopping by.
