Say Cheese Classic Pooh, A Lovely Day card

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing another Winnie-the-Pooh card using the Collection Kit from the Spellbinders/Simple Stories Say Cheese Classic Pooh collection collab. This collection is huge! There are die sets, BetterPress plates, stamp set, ephemera, foam and chipboard stickers, 12x12 and 6x8 paper pads and MORE!
Note, you can also purchase this collection as well as each 12x12 sheet separately on Scrapbook.com!😍
For this card I went old school and did some sewing on it! I literally had to dust off my sewing machine! 😂 I even inked the edges with a touch of Vintage Photo ink. My card uses paper, a tag, and a few stickers from the Collection Kit.
One of the 12x12 sheets from the collection is an array of tags, so I picked this cute one of Pooh and Piglet and cut it out. Note, you can purchase the 12x12 Tag Elements sheet by itself.
I made a white seam binding bow and added a few stickers and gems.
I love how this turned out. 💖

Spellbinders December 2024 Wax Seal Club - 2 card designs

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing 2 cards using the November Wax Seal of the Month by Spellbinders. If you missed my card using the Small Die of the Month, you can find it HERE. This month's theme is Love/Valentine's and each of the clubs are fabulous! The sign up goes through the 27th, so there's still time! Check out what I made and scroll down for all the products used.

Club subscription info:
The new subscription sign up window is from the 6th to the 27th.  After existing club members subscriptions have been processed, any inventory remaining will be available for new subscriptions. Continuing Subscriptions will charge on the 5th of each month, which means existing Club Members will be able to cancel subscriptions or make edits to payment or shipping info up until the 4th of each month.

This month's Wax Seal stamp is called "Scalloped Heart" and it is an oval shape. The heart and scallops are deeply etched, so it is easy to go over it with a metallic pen. I opted for a clean look and skipped the pen.

Both my cards use super cute Echo Park Valentines paper called Love Notes and I chose my wax bead color to compliment the papers. The first card uses my all time favorite Sealed Stems die set called Sealed Wildflowers and the second card uses a simple sentiment from my stash.
I love how these turned out!

Polar Bear Pals - MFT Sketch challenge

Hi everyone! I'm popping by to post a card for the latest MFT Sketch Challenge. It's a lovely sketch and I think I'm gonna keep it in my stash of go-to sketches!
I used one of the adorable polar bears from the BB Polar Bear Pals stamp set. I mean, just look at this cutie? I hope to make a few more cards with these cuties when I have some more free time.
Check out the sketch

Clean and Simple Merry Christmas Gnome

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a very clean and simple Christmas gnome card. I used the Gnome Hugs die set by Spellbinders and some older Christmas papers by Echo Park from the Lumberjack Christmas collection.
Just a couple circles and the gnome! I couldn't help myself but to add a few holly leaves and some red rhinestones. This one can easily be mailed with no extra postage. Gotta love that!

I added 2 scorelines along the bottom for a bit of texture and some copic coloring in his beard to give it dimension. If you want to make it even flatter, you could substitute some red berries die cuts for the rhinestones and not use foam tape on the gnome and sentiment. Those swaps could also make it easier to mass produce!

Supplies used on this card:

Christmas Blooms die set (for the small holly leaves)

Watercolored Oak leaf with acorn card

Hi everyone! I have been playing in the 30 Coloring Challenge for the month of November -this is a challenge where you color 1 thing a day, could be something big or small and it's open to anyone- and have a card to share using one of the images I water colored.

My favorite tree is the mighty Oak (closely followed by the Twisty Locust) and I absolutely love this oak leaf with acorn image from the Stamp Simply Clear Stamps Give Thanks stamp set. Isn't it stunning?
I stamped it on water color paper and colored it with my Pretty Excellent water color palette. I usually heat emboss my images when I water color because it helps me keep in the lines, but this time I challenged myself and I didn't. I almost tossed this a few times, but stuck with it. One thing about water coloring, there are ways to fix or color over things.
I'm glad I stuck with it because I really do love how it turned out. I die cut the image and then again with Gold Mirror cardstock with the coordinating Give Thanks die and layered them together. I trimmed a few patterned papers from the Echo Park My Favorite Fall pack and layered them behind the leaf panel.  The sentiment is from the set Autumn Blessings and I heat embossed it in white on dark brown cardstock.
Stay tuned next week I'll post a few more cards from my colored images. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend. Here's a close up picture.

Coffee with a side of Freshly Made Sketches

Hi everyone! A few days ago I ventured into Craft Warehouse which I haven't visited for almost 4 years since I was exclusive to FSJ (too much temptation). Needless to say, I was in there for almost 2 hours. Not so much in the paper crafting section, but they have the most amazing section of FAUX SUCCULENTS! Be still my heart! After I complete a few of my arrangements, I'll share a few pics over on Instagram.

But back to my card. I DID find a cute paper pack from Echo Park that is called Coffee! So I was searching for some inspiration to use it and saw this week's sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. It was perfect! The sketch is simple which appealed to me and lended itself nicely to using my Coffee or Tea dies by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.
I had so much fun making these coffee cups! All 3 have fun little details different from each other. One uses patterned paper punched into small branches, one has stickles accents to mimic gilding and the last one I fussy cut some florals from patterned paper.
Here is the sketch if you want to play along.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great evening.
Other supplies used:
Kaisercraft mini paper blooms in Fairy Floss
Border punch from SU
Branch punch from Martha Stewart

Today we are spotlighting the 2 sets, Vintage Notes:

My first card uses Vintage Notes designed by Tami Mayberry.  This set was designed to coordinate with Spellbinders, S4-359 Office Supplies die templates.  L.O.V.E.!!  I stamped the notebook paper and die cut it with a rectangle die and then the torn notebook edge die from Office Supplies.  I love all the stamp choices for the notebook paper, so many possibilities.
Next up is my card using Sweet Strawberries.  I just love these berries!  This set was illustrated by Theresa Momber and she did such wonderful job capturing the total yumminess of strawberries!  I colored them with my copics and using Scor-Tape and glitter outlined the square panel.
And here is the INSIDE (for those of you scrolling by fast - this is the inside, not a separate card -lol).
I don't always decorate the inside of my cards, but I couldn't fit the sentiment on the outside and I really wanted to use this one!
Check out all the amazing designs and inspiration:

A fun summer layout

Hi everyone!!   I have a quick post today sharing a scrapbook page layout I made for one of my Spellbinders projects.  I can share today because it now appears in the Spellbinders Idea Gallery.
Last summer we BARELY got hot weather (sniff sniff).  Meanwhile, the boys asked EVERY SINGLE day starting in May if they could bring out the Slip 'n Slide.  Well, it finally got hot enough around the middle of August to bust it out and I took some pictures!  I just love how it looks like Ryan is sliding into the "waves" I die cut!!  That piece is the left over piece from the border in the Nautical Frame and Accents set.

Here is a close up detail of the flower embellishments I made using the Splendid Circles dies topped with little flowers from the Home Sweet Home set.
Before I go, I had 2 blog candy winners who didn't contact me, so I have chosen 2 new winners!
They are:

A couple Spellbinders Projects

Hi everyone!  I have a couple Spellbinders projects to share.  These can be found in the fabulous Spellbinders Idea Gallery found on their blog.  You should check it out!  There are tons of inspiration from the Design Team and you can sort the projects by Cards, Mixed Media or Scrapbook pages.

First is a card I made using the Presto Punch and templates.  Have you heard of the Presto Punch?  It is a machine that does the punching automatically with one button.  All the templates are similar to the regular dies in that they are thin and easy to store.  Imagine, NO MORE bulky punches to store?  Also this machine is perfect for stampers who have weakness in the hands.

Next up is a little tin I altered for Christmas.  I found this at Michael's Dollar Spot (when it was still a dollar, did you know they raised the prices to $1.50 now?).  Anyway, I just love this how this tin turned out.
Thanks for stopping by and check back soon.  The Spellbinders Blog Frenzy -Abilities and Beyond, is about to begin and I am on DAY ONE!  woohoo!
