Spellbinder Thank you blog hop

Hi everyone!   The Gina K Designs team would like to welcome to you this special Spellbinders Thank You Blog Hop!! Recently Spellbinders generously gifted each member of our Design Team with the amazing new Grand Calibur die cutting machine!  What an amazing and exciting gift and believe me each one of us LOVE it!! We have made some special Spring themed cards and projects to showcase the new Grand Calibur and why we love it so much.  Thank you so much Spellbinders!

If you are following the hop, you should have come here from the very talented Melanie Muenchinger's blog.   If you missed anything along the way, you can find the master blog list over on Gina's blog!

My first card uses the little chickies image from the Basket Blessings set.  Aren't they the cutest?!?  And the detailing in the eggs is drawn in, so they are super easy to color.
Here is a picture of all the Spellbinders die cuts I used on the card.  See how they ALL fit on the Cutting Plate?  This is what I LOVE about the Grand Calibur.  The Plate is 8.5x11 and it is big enough to do all the card die cuts in one swipe!!
My next card uses the set, Bug Me Anytime.  I love this cutie little set!  Lots of fun happy sentiments and images -perfect for spring.  I inked the flower puff in brown and then took a pink ink to the edges.
Here are the Spellbinders dies I used for this card.
So your next stop along the hop is the fabulous, Nina Brackett!!
Be sure to hop over and see what fabulous spring creation she has for you!!  I'll leave you with some close up pictures.

Quick and easy Christmas cards

Hi everyone!  I have a couple quick and easy cards to share.  I made these using the fabulous K&Company Glad Tidings Grand Adhesion stickers and the Glad Tidings Cardmaking Pad!  All you need to make these are some 1/4" silk ribbon, corner rounder and a 1 1/2" circle punch, rhinestones and some sentiments.  I used various sentiments from Verve Stamps (can't go wrong with Julee's fonts!).

I liked the cute layout so much I made another card with some MME papers and another Verve sentiment from the new Friendly Phrases set.
You can find the supplies for the Christmas cards at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!  You can get items in a Kit, or as individual items.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

P.S.  I found this layout from a sketch challenge blog, but after I printed out the sketches I realized they didn't have their name on them!

Card Deets:
Stamps - Ornamental Christmas, Friendly Phrases, Glad Tidings
Ink - black
Paper - cream cardstock, Glad Tidings pattern paper (K&Co)
Accessories - 1/4" burgundy silk ribbon, rhinestones, Glad Tidings Grand Adhesion Stickers, circle and corner rounder punch, heart nestabilities, Tiny Twinkles (Taylored Expressions)

Hippity Hop Monday

Hi everyone!  It's Monday and I had a chance to play along with the H{ippity} Hop!!  It's been a busy month with Verve having 2 releases -the Fall collection just released and Christmas is in a couple weeks.  But, I took some time to play with one of my old Ippity Stamp sets, Life's Little Moments.  This set was from the first release and although geared towards scrapbooking, has lots of images that are perfect for cards!

My card uses Jen's Sketch for you To Try and some paper and goodies from K&Company, the Olivia Rose collection!  This collection has a totally fun and whimsical feeling to it and Ippity was a perfect match!  AND...see that strip of daisy flowers?  Yep -my new toy!  A jumbo border punch called Garden Flower Chain from EK Success.  This is really cool, I have never had a punch that punched both sides before and I love it!!
Here is a detail picture.
Be sure to go to the {ippity} blog to see the master list of all the players with Ippity goodness for you today.  Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned tomorrow for the October Stamp Simply Ribbon store blog hop!
