Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #46

Hi everyone! It's Sunday and that means it's time for another FABULOUS Cupcake Inspiration challenge from Hope Stamps Eternal! Check out these lovely cupcakes! I love the bright fun colors! Anything I can use with Raspberry Fizz makes me happy.

Yep! I made another circle card, sigh, I sure do love these!! Isn't this little birdie cute? She is Lucy Bird from Imaginisce. From the Snag 'em line, these are only 99 cents! I colored her with Copic markers and added a couple silver pearls (my fav, of course).

I thought the cupcake colors matched nicely with the Basic Grey, Indian Summer papers. I also used some felt flowers from Zva Creative (Cozy Mix). The sentiment is from Ippity's new set Music of My Heart. I am thinking it may be a touch too large in scale for the image -I may change this later.

Now head on over to the Sweeties and see how they rocked these bright and fun cupcakes!!!!

Three Christmas cards

Hi everyone, I have a couple Christmas cards to share today.

First up is a Christmas card using this week's Fall To Layout #67. I used last year's Snow Wonderful from Verve. This has to be my all time favorite little snowman!! The amazing little snowflakes are sequins!

Yep, thanks to my GF Anne, I discovered sequins from Cartwright's Sequins! So cute, cheap and fast shipping! I added tiny green rhinestones to the centers. The DP is Imaginisce, Polar Expressions -love this line cause it has sparkle in it!! I emossed the top part of the card with a snowflakes EF. The snowman's scarf is popped up at the end for some dimension -cute!!

The next card was for this week's CAS challenge which was to use white and ONE other color (even black counts). I chose GREEN!!! The sentiment is from Verve's O'Christmas Tree. The border punch is from Martha Stewart and the cute pattern paper is called December Details from Bella Blvd! Won't this card be easy to mass produce?

And last, but not least, I have a card using last week's Mojo Monday sketch. This card just makes me HAPPY! I used some of SU! Felt Flurries snowflakes (on clearance) and last year's Christmas paper from MME Flurries & Frost collection. I love this collection, sometimes I wish they could put out the same papers 2 years in a row!!! Oh why not?!!!

The tree and snow line are from Verve's Christmas in the Air and the sentiment is from Holly Jolly. This card has lots of different bling. I used Kaiser rhinestones and Zva Creative flower rhinestones.

Oh and a couple sales to mention: Verve has all their Fall and Winter sets on sale thru the 15th. Hope Stamps Eternal has all their Martha Stewart items 40% off and has Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg in stock now!!

Card Deets (FTL):
Stamps: Snow Wonderful and Christmas in the Air

JustRite Christmas Blog Hop!!

Hi everyone and welcome to the JustRite Christmas release Blog Hop!! I am so thrilled to be invited to play along. I have several cards to share using the super cute set, Merry Little Christmas Borders and Centers. What a fun and versitile set!!

First up, a simple card designed almost to look like a present with a lovely sentiment tag. The DP is Basic Grey, Wassail. I colored the striped border with copic markers. A couple red rhinestones and silver cord add the finishing touches.
Next we have a CAS card using the snowflake image. I am always looking to make CAS Christmas cards (as well as the intriquite ones) -it's all about time management! The snowflake was colored with a light blue copic, silver Sakura gel pen and each have stickles on the tips and a clear rhinestone in the center. AND isn't the sentiment the cutest? Here is one thar uses the adorable santa hat and I again used the lovely Merry Christmas sentiment. I added some dots of liquid applique to the trim, I didn't put it on too thickly as it is a small image. The pattern paper is the newly released Polar Express by Imaginisce.
And last, but not least, a VERY non-traditional Christmas card. I had alot of fun with this one and turned one of the center and borders as part of a flower bloom! It's kinda sorta Christmas-y in that the pattern paper is Basic Grey Figgy Pudding! LOL! Oh and notice the sewing? I almost sewed a straight line -bwahaha!
Well, thanks for stopping by, I had a blast and a BIG thank you to Kellie and Kathy for inviting me to be a part of this Blog Hop!!

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge -20

Hi Everyone! It's Sunday and time for another delicious cupcake inspiration challenge. Check out the yumminess this week...Sadly, I didn't have any time to make a card for this challenge. My little one has been pretty sick since Thursday and I couldn't get to it.

BUT, I do have a couple winter cards to share. This first card uses some of the NEW Imaginisce winter line, Polar Express!! LOVE the fun bright glittery colors in this collection. This cute polar bear was colored with copic markers (as was the shading around him). Check him out, the stamp is part of the Snag 'em line and only $1!! I used my Upper Crest border punch for the bottom and the sentiment is from Verve's Snow Wonderful set.

This next card uses one of the Miss Ayna images from The Greeting Farm. She is the Snow image from the Rain, Snow, Shine set. I colored her with copic markers and added some liquid applique to her trim -tooo cute! AND, see that background paper? I made it by stamping an image from Technique Tuesday, Casablanca repeatedly to form that pattern and embossed with clear. BTW, it took me hours of trying different combinations to come up with that pattern!!

The felt flower and holly are from Creative Cafe which I found at my LSS (the only place I have been able to find them!). Some heavenly silver pearls and silver cord finish things off.

Everyone is invited to play along in the challenge!! If you do, be sure to link your creation to Mr. Linky on the HSE blog. Every week, Rach highlighs the top 5!! And if you upload to SCS or PCP, be sure to use keyword: CIC20. Oh and speaking of winter and Christmas, be sure to stop by the store, and check out the new Memory Box paper they have 2 new Christmas lines out now!!

Thanks for stopping by. Now head on over to my fellow HSE Sweetie's cards and see how they rocked those cupcakies!! We have a special guest Sweetie this week, Maureen! Welcome Maureen, we're so glad you played along with us!!

Jacksonbelle Tuesday

Hi everyone! It's Tuesday and time for another Jacksonbelle challenge. This entire month we have sketches! Woohoo! I just love me some sketch challenges -LOL! Everyone is welcome to play along -as usual if you don't need to have JBelle supplies to play, but if you don't have any, you can check out the store and see if anything strikes your fancy. You can use the keyword JBE056.

I kept the card simple today, minimal layers -I am liking this lately. In fact, it's kinda tough for me to do all the layers I used to do! Go figure? Anyway, I used my FAV piece of Pink Paislee from the Office Lingo line. I just LOVE this paper, so fresh and cheerful. The sentiment is from Imaginisce, part of their Snag 'em line. The amazing felt flowers are Zva Creative and the ribbons are from PTI in Hibiscus Burst grosgrain and Bitty Dot satin.

Be sure to check out the other Design Team's cards, lots of inspiration to be found!!

JBelle Tuesday challenge and CAS challenge

Hi everyone! Today is Tuesday and that means another Jbelle challenge! This week's challenge is to make a spring card. I know, a repeat... but hey, why not? We are all itchin' for some SPRINGTIME already! LOL!

Like always, you don't need to have JBelle supplies to play, but if you don't have any, you can check out the store and see what strikes your fancy. There is brand new Pink Paislee stuff in the house!!

My card uses the super cute Imaginisce For Peeps Sake Thank You stamp along with Pink Paislee DP. The paper is from the Enchanting line, Delightful page -such cute butterflies!! Here is my opinion on Pink Paislee paper, you all know my first love is Basic Grey, but having this paper is the perfect compliment to BG. It is a bit whimsical and lots of fun colors and patterns. BG tends to be a bit more elegant. I am super thrilled Linds started carrying it!!

Back to the card, nothing says spring like GREEN GALORE! LOL! I just love this green color and was happy to see this DP was a perfect match. The 3 Dew Drops at the bottom are from the Lily Pad bottle. See all that 1/8" organdy ribbon? What a dream! Small and pliable, easy to work with and packs quite a punch! It's from Heidi's store and is very reasonably priced!

Here is a pic of the inside. Decorating the insides is all the rage right now, and I love doing it too. But, I like to keep them really simple like a strip or two of coordinating DP. I like how it leaves plenty of room to write and uses up DP scraps!

If you play along, be sure to use keyword JBE047 when you upload your card so we can find all the lovely Springness in one place. Don't forget to check out the other DT blogs for their spring cards!

Like last week, I also have CAS challenge card to share. This week's SCS CAS challenge was to follow a sketch -my fav. I LOVE making CAS cards and this is fast becoming my favorite weekly challenge. I needed some Thank you cards and I about fell out of my chair at the cuteness of this Imaginisce Thank you stamp! So, I hope you all don't get sick of seeing several more. LOL!

This card also uses some of the Pink Paislee paper from Jacksonbelle's store! This paper is from the Office Lingo line. Specifically, the Lunch Hour and Fast Track papers. Again, I colored the flower and leaves with Copics and put an orange gem in the center. The buttons and 1/8" organdy ribbon are both from Heidi's store, Pinkhedgehog Papercrafts. There are 2 scored lines at the bottom of the card, it's a bit hard to see in the pic.

Here is a close up of the details. You can see the scored lines better here.

Thanks for stopping by! Come back tomorrow cause it's MY turn to post on the Verve Project Parade route!!

Papertrey's sketch challenge

WOW! Have you all seen the wonderful goodies being released by PTI this month? All the sneak peeks and challenge deets can be found here.

This card is for the Itty Bitty Dots sketch challenge. To one lucky winner, a spool ALL the ribbons PTI sells!! What?!? BE STILL MY HEART!
Are you kidding me? Their entire ribbon collection? If I won all of those, I would throw them in the tub and roll around in 'em. Of course, I would have to wait for my DH to be at work, so he wouldn't have me COMMITTED! LOL!

This card uses the super cute Fairest tree from Imaginisce and the sentiments are from PTI Birthday Basics -which, IMHO is the best birthday sentiment set out there! The DP is PTI's Pink Patterns and the ribbon is their Twill in Berry Sorbet. Did you notice how the brads are an exact match? Heidi (Pinkhedgehog Papercrafts) has brads custom ordered to match all the SU colors -the one that matches Cameo Coral matches Berry Sorbet!!

OK, please ignore the horrible coloring of the tree. That's what I get for making this card l;ast night at 10:30PM!!!

Here is a pic of most of the supplies I used.

Card Deets:
Stamps - Fairest Tree, Birthday Basics
Paper - Sweet Blush, Berry Sorbet, white
Accessories - copic markers, coral brads, PTI ribbon, swiss dots EP, stickles

Jacksonbelle Embellishments Tuesday Challenge

Welcome to the first Jacksonbelle Embellishments challenge of 2009 (and my first challenge on the team!)!! Each Tuesday, we have a little challenge for you to play along with. You don't have to use JBelle goodies on your card to play along, but if you don't have any be sure to check out the JBelle Store and see what you can find! Lindsey has put lots of new stuff in the *clearance* section to make room for the new releases from CHA. AND, don't forget that JBelle has 4 brand new Shimmerz colors EXCLUSIVE to the store.
So here's my card. This week's challenge was a sketch challenge -ahhh, my favorite kind!! My card uses the Imaginisce single stamp called Flowers. I colored it with Copic markers and then went over it with my Sakura clear glitter pen and added some mini bling by Kaiser Crafts. The FAB designer paper is from October Afternoon. This line of paper is new to me and I am lovin' it! It is very thick and smooth, kinda like My Mind's Eye. Anyway, the paper I used is from the Hometown Line, County Library, I used both sides of it on this card. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday, Small Talk. I used a couple Cuttlebug dies, flowers and ribbon slider in combination for the sentiment panel.

Here is a close up of the image. I don't know if you can see or not, but not only is the image panel on dimensionals, but I also popped up the top 2 layers again for some extra dimension!! The sentiment and scalloped blue circle are also popped up.

Here are some of the supplies I used.

So if you want to play along with the sketch and upload to SCS, you can use the keyword JBE034 so we can all find your creations and leave you some love!! Or if you chose, you can post a link to your card at the JBelle Blog and we will find it there. Don't forget to stop by the other DTs blogs to see what they did with the sketch -I have listed them below! P.S. I am sorry the sketch is so small. I just couldn't get it any bigger -don't ask me why...
