Hi everyone! It's no secret I love all things floral. Paper, stamps and dies -I love them all! My latest obsession is with the new flower die set from Spellbinders called Be Bold Blooms! I spent a few hours one day cutting all the pieces from many colors to have on the ready.
Here are a few of the cards I made with them. First up are cards using gorgeous peachy colors for the blooms and a blue toned green for the stems and leaves. For this set I used silver micro beads in the centers.
Cardstock used: Spellbinders Barely Peach, SU! Petal Pink, Concord and 9th Grapefruit
Concord and 9th Evergreen and Clover
Other dies used: Gina K Designs Master Layouts 7 dies (slimline); Pinkfresh Studio Stitched Scalloped Squares
Next up is a set I made using aqua and yellow colors and traditional grass green tones for the stems and leaves. I can't decide which I love more -lol!
Spellbinders cardstock: Waterfall, Teal Topaz, Blue Spruce, Fern
Other cardstock: New Leaf (PTI); Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry (SU!)
Here is how I keep my Be Bold Blooms die cuts to have them at the ready. I have a ton of these plastic containers from back in the day when I kept my buttons in them and the compartments are the perfect size!
Do you have a favorite? Let me know! Speaking of favorites, here are a few of my favorite Spellbinders embellishments!

ReplyDeleteAll of your cards are beautiful, I can’t pick a favorite. Can you share where you purchased the micro beads?
ReplyDeleteHi there! I purchased them from an online store called Little Birdie Crafts. https://littlebirdiecrafts.com/
DeleteWowza! These cards are all gorgeous. Thanks for the inspiration. Your storage system is so much better than mine. I know I have some of those containers somewhere. Great tip!

ReplyDeleteI so love this die cut set it’s awesome.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards love love love ๐
ReplyDeleteJust got these dies, love them! do you have a method that makes cutting so many dies at one time a little easier? I usually shy away from real tedious jobs, lol. looking forward to hearing from you.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary! I pull my cardstock colors and bring to my machine and then pretty much just die cut, take them out and keep with like colors and repeat. There is no getting around the tediousness of these beauties!
DeleteI just purchased these dies and googled photos for inspiration. When these came up, they were my favorite and I want to try to case them. Could you tell me the blue colors of cardstock you used? They go together so well, but aren't the traditional blues that I have in my stash. Also would love to know what the yellows are, especially the kind of mustardy one. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Anne! Thanks for your comment! I updated my description to include the colors for the blue themed cards. I also love that mustard shade, it's Crushed Curry by Stampin' Up! a fav of mine!!
DeleteWent away to order immediately for delivery tomorrow! Can’t wait to make a box of flowers, even if they never get onto cards๐
ReplyDeleteI just got this set and flabbergasted to see your article (through Pinterest). So inspirational! Love your work ❤️ Lots of love from The Netherlands.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!
DeleteGorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, I'm intrigued by the container where you sort the die cuts, where are they from?
ReplyDeleteI had these in my stash, but you can get similar containers from Amazon. Make sure the little boxes are large enough to hold the largest bloom. My particular container has 8 parts, each measuring approx 2" x 1 2/3"
