Spellbinders Timeless collection slimline butterfly card

Hi everyone! I have a lovely slimline butterfly card to share today! I have lots of crafting to catch up on, so this post will be short and sweet. The Timeless Collection is part of Spellbinders May 2024 releases. This collection has a variety of elegant dies, borders, sentiments and 6 wonderful butterfly sticker packs!
TWILIGHT BUTTERFLIES AND ALWAYS YOU SENTIMENTS

My card is a mini slimline design measuring 6"x3" and I used 3 butterflies from the Twilight Butterflies sticker pack. The packs have 7 butterflies with 2 layers to them. The adhesive is the entire bottom butterfly layer, so it stays on your card securely. Since there are 7 I was able to splurge using 3 on my card and have with plenty left over!

The sentiment is from the Always You Timeless Sentiments press plates. The set has 8 all occasion sentiments in a gorgeous elegant font. I love this set and can see it being a go-to set for elegant cards and I think it flows well with these beautiful butterflies.

Simple Foliage die cut cards

Hi everyone! I have 2 fun cards to share using a die set from the Tulip Garden collection by Simon Hurley for Spellbinders. I used the Everyday Foliage die set on these cards, they are essentially the same and were pretty simple to make.
For my cards, I die cut the foliage dies from a piece of patterned paper from the Rainbow Twirl 6x6 pad by Paper Rose. I chose one of the purple/blue/pink "cloudy ink blot" pieces which look beautiful die cut into stems!
I partially stenciled a chevron pattern with Cloud Whip for the background, matted it to dark purple cardstock and added some sequins. Other than drying time, this went together really fast. I've mentioned before, but I keep a huge stash of glimmered sentiments. I glimmer my Hexi-Gems Glimmer Sentiments in a variety of colors and die cut them and keep the stash on my desk to add to my cards easily.
This card is essentially the same, except I kept the background even more simple with black splatter instead of stenciling. I matted it to black cardstock, added some sequins and chose a black sentiment.

Simple white on white Valentine card

Hi everyone! I'm popping on with a simple white on white Valentines card. I was inspired by the Simon Says IG Challenge to create an all white card. This one turned out pretty cute.
The adorable die set is called Love you Speech Bubble by Paper Rose (currently on sale for $8.44 + a cute freebie die). It was pretty easy to make, I die cut the bubble and hearts several times with white cardstock and then the red elements. I used a small T-Ruler to make sure they were lined up straight.
This could be changed up many ways (think rainbow?) if white on white is not your thing.

Kaleidoscope Arch collection birthday card

Hi everyone! Today's card is inspiration for the new Kaleidoscope Arch Collection by Spellbinders. I am using the Kaleidoscope Arch Sentiments stamp set and the Kaleidoscope Arch die set. At first I didn't think this was my style, but I actually enjoyed making this card. So many possibilities with the stamp and die set in this collection. Here is what I made.
I knew I wanted to use more of the lovely Morning Memories paper pack, so I chose the colors for my die cuts that complimented the paper palette.  I heat embossed sentiment is on a piece from the paper pack as well as the die cut blue flower accents. The papers have a smooth texture, so I used plenty of anti-static powder to get a clean sentiment.

Be Bold Blooms happy birthday and a new machine for Gina K!

Hi everyone! This time of year I start to make cards sets that I give away as Christmas gifts. Today's birthday card will be the start of a card set that uses my beloved Be Bold Blooms die set with the gorgeous patterned papers in the Morning Memories pack by Paper Rose.
It was fairly simple to put together. I cut a strip of patterned paper, die cut the flowers from some of the solid patterns and the leaves and stems were cut from cardstock. To add a bit of dimension to the flowers, I blended a little ink (I'll list the colors below). The sentiment was one from my pre-foiled stash of sentiments.
***Did you catch the announcement by Gina?***
Today Gina K Designs launched her very own Fuse Foiling System!!
It is $69.95 and comes with a starter pack of Poly Glaze Sheets and Foil pack. Oh and it's PURPLE and so so pretty! So if you've been on the fence about taking the plunge to use her Poly Glaze sheets, this new system may be worth checking out.
