Gink K Designs | Wonderful Watsonia with Stenciled background - 2 card designs

Hi everyone! Tonight is Gina K Design's August release and I'm excited to share two cards using the  Wonderful Watsonia stamp and die sets. This floral set features 3 beautiful floral images, 2 leaves and 5 sentiments!

  First up is a mini slimline card that uses the large blooms image colored with Copic markers over a partially stenciled background. When I looked at images of Watsonia flowers I was amazed at how bright and colorful they are. I used Ocean Mist ink for my stenciled background, so I chose to color the flowers in bright coral colors for perfect contrast.

 Next up is a more simple card using the other 2 Watsonia blooms. I also used a sentiment from the new Big Thanks set which is a MUST have set in your stash with 22 Thank you sentiments in all different sizes and fonts!

I used the same stencil for the background, but this time I added Ocean Mist reinker to some texture paste and applied it partially to the background.
