Spellbinders | January 2023 Small Die and Embossing Folder of the Month Clubs

Hi everyone! I'm back today sharing 2 cards using Spellbinders January 2023 Small Die of the Month and the Embossing Folder of the Month.

January's Small Die of the Month is called Sentimental Ampersand and features a large Ampersand, 6 sentiments and a few small accent flowers and leaves. The Embossing Folder is called Stylized Trellis and is the regular 2D folder with a gorgeous symmetrical trellis pattern. And there is a NEW 3D Folder of the month option if you want the 3D dimension!

Small Die of the Month is $15 with a retail value of $27

My first card focuses on the large "&" which was die cut from dark gray cardstock accented with pink and raspberry flower elements and deep green and sage leaves. You can see to the left side, there is a strip of the embossing folder. I carefully trimmed it to reveal a symmetrical 1" pattern and framed it with a border die.

My next card is a 4.5" square and uses the large "&" in a fun way. Your eyes don't deceive you, I cut 2 die cuts apart and used them as a corner flourish! What I like about these 2 card designs is you can emboss 1 piece of cardstock and use it for both cards with a bit left over.
