Hi everyone! It's December 1st and it's time to take Christmas card making up a notch! I am in a Facebook nail wrap group and will be sending out some wraps as random acts of kindness (RAKs) to a few members. I want to tuck them inside a Christmas card, so making cards that are flat and don't require extra postage was imperative.
So I came up with a design that uses some pieces of patterned paper that I had in a box and a few die cuts. I tried not to go crazy with layered flowers, etc. Check out what I made.
Supplies used on these cards:
Stylish Merry Christmas die set
Glitter foam in green and white
Variety of patterned papers
For some texture without bulk, I made 2 score lines on the front of the card base, 1 at the 1/4" and the other at the 4" mark. I think it adds the perfect amount of interest. Oh and after a few cards, I figured out the easiest way to get the die cut sentiment letters on to the shaped panel. The first few I manually adhered the letters and tried to get the spacing right. Check out my Instagram page for a reel I made showing how I adhered them perfect every time! I will post my reel Friday, 12/2.
And here are a couple that are more masculine. One is for my neighbor!
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
