Hi everyone! I'm back to share an adorable snowman card from Spellbinders die set called Let it Snowman designed by Becca Feeken. I'm all about anything snowman, so this set is a must have for me! Check out what I made.
I mean, come on! Look at the adorable inlaid snowflake on his tummy! This die set is an A2 card front die with a separate snowman, snowflakes and sentiment options. It looks deceptively complicated, but not that difficult to put together.
To make it, I used Cosmic Sky to make the card base and die cut the main card front die. Next I trimmed white cardstock and adhered it on the card front. Then I adhered the A2 die cut which then allows all the white peeking thru including the details below the snowman. Next, I die cut the snowflakes and all the snowman elements and adhered. Finally, I took the extra step of piecing each light blue dot around the tummy snowflake, but that is time consuming and if you're in a hurry could easily be skipped. You could easily take a colored pen and color in each dot opening.
If you're looking for great deals on Christmas dies, check out Spellbinders Christmas Clearance Sale! Lots of really cute stuff there. Including the new Santa Lane Christmas card kit and one of my favs, Christmas Blooms set. Sale goes through December 26th!
