Hi everyone!! Welcome to Day 1 of the Gina K Designs November Release Inspiration Blog hop! Today we are spotlighting the sets, Stately Flowers 1 and Make a Statement, both illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger. Several of the DT are also showing samples for the Duos, Close Knit Friends and Because of You.
First up is a card using Make a Statement. This set is soooo versatile! I love all the clever sentiments that are in this set and that map is awesome. We will be sending this card to Bill's mom when we send her a goody basket!
Next, is my card using Stately Flowers 1. This will be the first in a series of stamp sets all profiling states and their official flowers. This first set includes Colorado, California, Texas and Wisconsin. My card uses the Rocky Mountain Columbine colored with copics. I Googled it to see how to color it, and discovered it is such a beautiful flower. For the sentiment, I inked only the "thanks" part of the stamp. I can't wait for the set which will have Oregon's flower, the Oregon Grape.
For even more samples of these new sets, you can visit each of the GKD Design Team blogs listed below. Make sure you leave a comment here and on each of their blogs because Gina
is going to draw two randomly chosen winners from all of the blog
comments, and each will receive a fabulous grab bag of stamps! Gina will announce the winners on her blog tomorrow.
