Ahoy!

Hi everyone!  I have a fun shaker card to share today.  This is also my last day my guesting at Eyelet Outlet and Brads and I used 2 brads can you spot them?
Head on over to their blog to see my final guest post and if you leave a comment over there 1 lucky commenter will win a prize!
Well, if in case you haven't spotted them, the brads are the anchors!  Aren't they adorable?!?  I used my much loved circle dies to create the little frame of my shaker part and the Font One Lowercase die set for the sentiment.  This font die set is really versitile, not too fancy, not too plain.
The adorable light house is from a Reverse Confetti stamp set, colored with Copics and filled with a variety of sequins and white beads.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!  Sorry, no close up picture today, I accidentally deleted it -oops!

Butterfly birthday wishes

Hi everyone!  I have a butterfly birthday card to share today which uses five different kinds of gold brads!  Yep 5!!  This is Day 3 of my guesting at Eyelet Outlet and Brads and I invite you to head on over to their blog to see my guest post and check out the wide range of products their store carries.
I loved the idea of doing an ombre effect with the color and sizing of the butterflies.  As the butterflies got smaller and lighter in color, I decreased the size of my center brad.  The butterflies came from 3 different die sets, the bottom butterfly is from Les Papillions, the middle is from Flutters and the top is from Les Papillions Two.
Here are all 3 sets:
And the gold accents scattered about are the 1/16 mini gold and 1/8 gold brads.  SO adorable!  The little 1/16th size are super cute and perfectly scaled for cards.  They really make me happy.

The subtle background you're seeing is made from a stamp.  I stamped the little grid background stamp from the Make A Statement set in Versamark and embossed it with sparkle powder.  I love the subtle effect it creates.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Hello - Love You

Hi everyone!  I have a fun card to share today using speech bubbles in a couple of ways.  This is Day 2 of my guesting at Eyelet Outlet and Brads and I used 2 brads for the sentiments!  Super cute!  Head on over to their blog to see my guest post and check out the wide range of products their store carries.
First I adhered some washi tape across the card base and die cut a square using the Pierced Squares die.  I die cut a speech bubble (Conversation Bubble 2) into the square and used the negative opening as a frame of sorts.  I attached the brads to an oval speech bubble (Conversation Bubble 3) and popped it up over the washi tape.  I added a couple rhinestones from the pink and green Jewel Strips!

Urban Blooms with Flower brads -guest designer spot

Hi everyone!  I am the guest designer for Eyelet Outlet and Brads this month and have several fun projects to share over the next few days.  Brads have come a loooong way over the years and now they have cute designs with just about anything you can think of, I mean bacon and eggs? Yes please!  Head on over to their blog to see my first guest post and check out the wide range of products their store carries.  Lots of really fun stuff!

Today I made a trio of 4x4 note cards using Spellbinders new Urban Blooms dies, scalloped squares and some ADORABLE flower brads for the centers.  How cute, right?!?
I started out die cutting and layering the 2 smallest sizes from my Urban Bloom flowers in white cardstock, then I chose patterned paper to coordinate with the flower brad.  I used a small circle die cut under the brad to make it to stand out.  I also used a couple of mini butterfly brads as accents (you can see them above the "friend" and "smile" sentiments).
Here are the Urban Blooms dies:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Here's a close up picture showing the dimension of these gorgeous flowers.
