Altenew September 2025 release, Aspen Sky

Hi crafty friends! Today is the September release day over at Altenew and I have a fun card featuring one of the layering stencils. This entire release is stunning and you should check it all out!

This layering stencil is called Stencil Art: Aspen Sky and it is stunning! The stencil set has 6 stencils and stencil #4 has 2 stenciling images on it, so really there are 7 layers. There is SO much detail with this!

I went with non-traditional fall colors for my tree and used my Enchanted Garden purple ink quad and I think it came out stunning. Their ink quad have colors from lightest to darkest, so using the inks with the stencil was a breeze! For the sky, I kept it traditional blues using the Lapis Luzuli blue ink quad. As always I use Bristol Smooth cardstock as I am guaranteed amazing results with ink blending.

The sentiment is from the Timeless Sentiment die set and I cut it 3 times in a chocolate brown cardstock to bring out the dark tones of the tree trunk.
