NOVEMBER 2024 WAX SEAL OF THE MONTH

This month's Wax Seal stamp is called "Happy Birthday to You" and it is a square shape. The words are deeply etched, so it is easy to go over it with a silver metallic pen. My kit came with the Must Have Coral Mix beads and I just love all the coral/peachy tones with a pop of copper! I knew I wanted to combine my wax seal with a few of my favorite Sealed stem dies and the new Hexi-Gem Shaker Dome.
The assortment of stems I used are from the Sealed Squiggles and Sealed Wildflowers die sets. These are my go-to sets when I use wax seals. Last month Spellbinders launched 5 Shaker Domes styles, each matching an essential die shape. These shaker domes makes shaker cards so easy to make! Mine uses the Hexi-Gem shape which is one of my favorites!
When I started my card I hot foiled the Monoline Stars Glimmer plate in several colors. I chose the silver foiled piece for my shaker card, but the piece foiled in Rose Gold was WAY TOO PRETTY not to use! So this is a bonus card I made. I kept almost everything the same, but swapped out the shaker dome for an embossed panel. I didn't have any Rose Gold cardstock for my stems, so I foiled a solid rectangle and die cut from it. I love how both of these turned out.
