Hi everyone! I'm getting prepared to take our first family vacation in 4 years! We are going to Hawaii for a week and if I weren't so darned busy, I'd be super excited! lol!! Anyway, I have a fun project to share before I go and if I get it in gear, I might have time schedule a post to go live when I'm gone.
This card was featured on the Fun Stampers Journey blog as part of their September Color Crush series! The colors I used on this are what I am calling the Soft Rainbow, not the traditional classic bold colors, but more pastel and muted tones.
For the pattern, I used the negative die cut pieces from the Hexagon Background die. First I ran the die with each color, then taped the hexagon frame to my card front and inserted the colored pieces until I found a pattern I liked. Next I glued each piece down and carefully removed the frame. The sentiment is embossed with white powder on black cardstock. I love how it pops against the colors!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
