So, I had this idea for a card using the adorable sailboat image in this set. I wanted to make it all nautical with blues and yellows, this could be combined with Munchkin Phrases and be a baby boy card too :-)
Friend-ships -get it?!? heehee! Anyhoo, I pieced the sailboats with some DP and colored the little flags with a copic marker. I did some simple scoring to add some texture.
Added Friday morning:
I made a trio of little tags! The tags are made from the A Cut Above die, Sweet Scallop Tag. I used a couple of the words and sentiment and the cutie heart images. Here is the list of all the Divas who are hopping today. Like yesterday, if you get lost along the way, Julee will have the master list on her blog since the Project Parade is still going on over on the Verve Blog.
Be sure to leave some love along the way as 1 lucky commenter will win the set being spotlighted today!!
Please join me tonight at the hour long Release Party. There will be set reveals, amazing samples from the Divas and a whole lot of prizes! So clear your calendars and see you 6PM Pacific!
Card Deets:
Stamps - Text ObjectsInk - black
Paper - white and bashful blue cardstock, Bashful DSP (SU) and Fine and Dandy PP (for sails) (My Minds Eye)
Accessories - yellow rhinestones, circle nestabilities, Score-Pal and Burlap String (all Stamp Simply Ribbon store), Take Three die (PTI), navy seam binding (Martha Stewart)
Sweet card. I finally will be able to creat a more masculine cardé Thanks for the idea.
