AUGUST 2025 SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH

This month's Small die of the month is called The Deep Blue Two and features these 2 divers with scuba gear and a variety of fish and sea coral.
To start my card, I chose a piece of blue ombre paper from the A2 Ombre paper pad (this paper pad is such a hack for ink blending) and die cut it with the Perfect Touch Rectangles and Tags set. For a touch of sparkle I added some Stardust Stickles to the die cut accent lines. I love how this turned out!

Sizzix and Catherine Pooler Rainbow Arches and Bright Butterflies

Hi crafty friends! I'm excited to be collaborating with Scrapbook.com to share inspiration for the latest collaboration release between Catherine Pooler and Sizzix.
💥This entire release is absolutely adorable! Be sure to check it out.💥
Check out what I made and scroll down for supplies used.
My baby card duo uses the Rainbow Arches die set combined with the Birthday Bunting die set for the BABY letters. The soft muted neutral colors and patterns are from the A2 Darling paper pad.
This paper pad is perfect for those expecting parents who want to be surprised with the gender!
I think it's fun to die cut both solids and patterns with the rainbow pieces. This paper pad has several solids that coordinates with the patterns making it super easy.

This simple butterfly card uses the new Border Party Circles die set and the Bright Butterflies Stamp and die set. I used a strip of paper from the A2 Bouquet paper pad and colored the butterfly to match! I die cut the body and trimmed a strip of Onyx Glitter paper for a pop of sparkle!
I love how all of these turned out!

Spellbinders City Holiday Collection, 2 JOY cards

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing 2 more cards from the City Holiday collection designed by Yana Smakula for Spellbinders. This collection features 3 die sets, 1 sentiment set and 1 BetterPress plate set. If you missed my first card with this collection, click here to see it.
Both my cards uses the Shadow Joy die set and some ink blending with Distress Oxide inks. The the holly leaves and berries are from the Christmas Cracker die set which is also part of this collection.
Card 1 starts with an embossed background using the Dimpled 3D embossing folder with some splatter from a couple of inks. I ink blended Bristol Smooth cardstock and then die cut the JOY and holly leaves. I added a couple flowers from the Christmas Blooms die set
Card 2 is a shaker card! I recycled stamp packaging and created a slim profile shaker element. To start, I inked blended Bristol Smooth cardstock with Distress Oxide inks (linked below). Next I covered it with some stamp packaging and sealed up 3 sides with 1/4" double sided tape. Then I added Bejeweled Shimmer Flakes and sealed it up the top and adhered it to a card base.
I die cut the JOY out of a A2 panel and placed it over the shaker element. When I was done it looked a little bare, so I added a simple rectangle frame around the card base and a few black gems.

Hero Arts Hocus Pocus - 'tis the Season to be Spooky

Hi crafty friends! Today is the 20th and that means the Hero Arts August releases are available! I have 2 fun Halloween cards to share using their Hocus Pocus collection. This collection features stamps, dies, sentiment press plates and a layering stencil set. Check out what I made!
How cute are these ghosts?!? They are from the Boo To You die set which features 4 ghosts with face options, a witches hat and a broom! The sentiment I used for both cards is from the Spooky Season Betterpress/foil plates. This set has 7 sentiments with coordinating dies.
My second card also uses one of the stencils from the Layering Scattered Stars. I used the smallest stars (stencil 1)with  Stickles Moon Dust Glitter Gel to give the card some glitz! I really love this stencil set, it has 3 layers and each layer has stars getting larger and I can see this being used for a number of cards.
--------------------------
Both of my cards feature pattern paper from Scrapbook.com. My first card uses A2 Spooky paper pad along the right side and my second card uses a purple ombre paper from the A2 Ombre paper pad. This paper pad is such a hack for ink blending 😀

Sharon's Scissors - You're Always in My Heart

Hi crafty friends! Today's card comes from something really special. Spellbinders released the Sharon's Scissors die set in honor of Sharon Klima. Sharon was a long-standing store owner, instructor, creator, mentor and friend to the papercrafting industry.
💗A portion of the proceeds from each sale will be donated to the American Heart Association in Sharon's honor.💗
I started my card with a pretty floral piece of pattern paper from the A2 Cottontail paper pad which helped determine the color palette. I die cut the scissors, sentiments and hearts with the Sharon's Scissors die set. I added a couple flower accents with the Mini Blooms and Sprigs die set.
I love how this turned out and I hope you have a chance to check out this special die set!
