Modern Botanicals Clean and Simple Smiles card

Hi crafty friends! I have a quick and easy card to share using a set from the new Modern Botanicals Collection by Dina Wakley for Spellbinders. I love the cool modern vibe of this collection which features 2 BetterPress plate sets and 2 3D Embossing folders.

My card uses the Growing BetterPress plate and die set and my colors were inspired by this amazing photo from my DIY Color Deck! This Color Deck card is EVERYTHING. The vase has similar markings as the circles in this set, so I had to use it.

This set uses the Registration system, which means you have a template to set your plates on, allowing for different colors of ink and the overlapping design.

This was such an easy card to make. The hardest part was choosing my ink colors! The tiny white flowers and sentiment were left overs from cards I made last month, so this came together in no time.

I have some new inks in my collection and I want to play around with some more color combinations, so stay tuned!

Spellbinders Cheerful Chirps collection, 2 card designs

 Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing 2 cards using the Cheerful Chirps collection which is part of Spellbinders June release. This collection features 3 adorable bird die sets, a sentiment stamp set and a 3D Embossing folder. 💖

My first card features the Pretty Birds die set and the Cross My Heart 3D embossing folder for the background. I lightly inked the background with soft pink ink and adhered it to my card base. I love the adorable birds AND the pretty flowers in this set.

Notice all the sparkle on the bird perch? I used a piece of the Antique White Assortment pack from the Treasured Cardstock collection. There are 4 new colors released this month, Aquamarine, Onyx, Ruby and Antique White! You should check them out, they are stunning!

My second card features the Flying High die set and the Spread Your Wings Sentiments stamp set. This regal bird and the flowers in the set are so sweet I had to make it a shaker card! I made my shaker element with the Scallop and Stitched Edge Oval die set.

Heartfelt Sympathy BetterPress card

 Hi crafty friends! I have a beautiful sympathy card to share today using one of the BetterPress Copperplates from the Happy Everything Sentiments collection. This collection is designed by Paul Antonio for Spellbinders and features 3 BetterPress sets with Paul's signature script font.

My card uses the Heartfelt Sympathy press plate and I have inked it with a rich royal blue ink. What I love about press plates is they can be inked or foiled with a Glimmer machine. You can find my last example of foiling one of Paul's wonderful press plates here.

I think the elegant font from this collection looks so pretty framed with flowers from my beloved Be Bold Blooms die set. I chose to use the color blue with pops of purple. I love how this turned out.

Stitched Coral die set, quick and easy card trio

 Hi crafty friends!  I have a quick and easy trio of cards to share today from the Pretty Pink Posh June release!!

To create my subtle background, I did the acetate smooshing technique with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. I then die cut the panels with the Essential Stylish Ovals die set. I inked up a variety of the Stitched Coral die cuts and arranged them in groups of 3. I kept it clean with a simple sentiment and some black splatter from the Black Lustre brush.

The sentiments are from the Sentiment Strips: Summer stamp set. I wanted some sparkle, so I added stickles to the stitched lines in the die cuts.

Spellbinders June 2025 Large Die of the Month

Club subscription info:  

The new subscription sign up window is from the 6th to the 27th.  After existing club members subscriptions have been processed, any inventory remaining will be available for new subscriptions. Continuing Subscriptions will charge on the 5th of each month, which means existing Club Members will be able to cancel subscriptions or make edits to payment or shipping info up until the 4th of each month.

JUNE LARGE DIE OF THE MONTH

 

This month's Large Die of the Month is called Sailor's Light and features a lighthouse, houses, clouds, waves and much more!! Super cute and versatile. 💙 

I had so much fun creating this nautical scene! The cute sailboat is from the Deluxe Caboodle bonus item! I love the scale of it and think it would work for a number of occasions (like a baby card). I couldn't resist adding the two small birds from the Guiding Light die set (currently out of stock) and the sentiment is from the Fair Winds Sentiments stamp set.
