Spellbinders Happier Hour Sip Sip Ole, This Calls for Extra Limes!

Hi crafty friends! I'm back today with another card using one of the sets from the new Happier Hour collection. This collection features 3 new cocktail glasses and themes, coordinating sentiment sets AND a new set of decorative rectangles called Linear Touch Rectangles which is SUPER pretty! 

SIP SIP OLE DIE SET AND SENTIMENTS

 

Do you like margaritas? I've never been a tequila fan, but I love these dies! I used the Sip Sip Ole die set and coordinating Sip Sip Ole Sentiment set. I love the fun embellishment dies that come in this set, how cute are the sombrero and limes?!?

To start my card, I chose a piece of yellow/orange ombre paper from the A2 Ombre paper pad (this paper pad is such a great hack for ink blending) and die cut it with the Perfect Touch Rectangles and Tags set. I love the adorable embellishments and to make them pop against the background I used pops of red and bright greens for the lime. The salt rim is sparkly with glitter cardstock. I was thinking about using hot foil for the sentiment, but decided to keep it simple with black ink on white cardstock. I love how this turned out.
