Spellbinders Happier Hour, A Special Toast card

Hi crafty friends! I'm back today with another card using one of the sets from the new Happier Hour collection. This collection features 3 new cocktail glasses and themes, coordinating sentiment sets AND a new set of decorative rectangles called Linear Touch Rectangles which is SUPER pretty! 

A SPECIAL TOAST DIE SET AND SENTIMENTS

 

Isn't this sparkly wedding toasting glasses amazing? I used the A Special Toast die set and coordinating A Special Toast Sentiment set. I love the beautiful embellishment dies that come in this set, perfect for any wedding or anniversary card! The background panel was die cut with the new called Linear Touch Rectangles which has 6 sizes of decorative edged rectangles and a small matching tag.

I chose purples for this card, a good friend of mine had lavender and sage as her wedding colors and I made this card with her in mind. I die cut the toasting glass in matte silver cardstock, the flowers with 3 shades of purple and leaves/stems with the 2 shades of green. I added final touches of sparkle with the AB Spectrum gems (which have a purple tint to them). I love how this turned out.
