Under the weather

Hi everyone!  Well, spring has sprung and that means rain, rain and more rain here in Portland!  All the rain has inspired me to once again bust out my Hello Puddles stamp and coordinating die set and make something fun!
I paper pieced the umbrellas with a combination of cardstock and paper from the new 6x6 Spring Parade paper pack.  And then added a Rainbow Drop accent on each.  I didn't care for how the white space was looking, so I scored some lines though out.  I would have preferred to have the score line raised on the face of the card, but since I already glued down my umbrellas, it was impossible to do when they were face down.  I think it turned out pretty cute this way and it was a whole lot easier.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Rain or shine

Hi everyone!  So it's raining where I am, lots of rain.  Rain, rain, go away!  Well I do appreciate all the green trees, so it does have it's purpose, lol!!  Anyway, I thought it was appropriate to pull out my Hello Puddles stamp and coordinating die set and make something fun and bright!
I thought it was fun to paper piece my umbrella with the dotted pattern in the Spring Parade paper pack and match the dots with the matte enamel Spring Accent dots!  Such bright colors... be still my heart.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Oh happy spring day

Hi everyone!  Spring is not quite here yet, but I sure am looking forward to it!  I have a happy spring card to share.  The FSJ Bloom This Way spring mini catalog has some FUN new border dies, 2 sets totaling 9 dies to be exact.  My card uses the 2 dies from the Border Details die set, the chevron die and the sprig vine die.

I die cut the border die from whip cream cardstock for the frames and adhered 2 side by side.  Then I die cut it again from all the pastel rainbow cardstock colors and used only the little negative pieces!!  I'll admit it took me an hour or so to decide which colors to use and in which order!  LOL!  But that's how I roll.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
P.S. so when posting this close up picture I noticed that my button is NAKED!  I much prefer to have some twine through the button holes, so kinda freaking out right now!  LOL!  So does it bother you to have naked buttons?!?
