Magic of Christmas

Hi everyone!  I have another Christmas card to share as part of The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store 12 days of CAS Christmas series.  This card isn't quite CAS, but it sure was fun to make!
To make the poinsettia flowers, I die cut the poinsettias using the Layered Poinsettia die set then stamped the poinsettia image from the Festive Poinsettia stamp set (which is on sale!) and embossed it with clear powder.  The sentiment is from the Christmas Inner Thoughts stamp set.  I made the doily layers from the Delightful Circles die set.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Stamps: JustRite Papercrafts, Festive Poinsettia and Christmas Inner Thoughts
Cardstock: Bazzill Paper Basics, Marshmallow card shoppe

Pattern paper - Kaisercraft, Christmas Carol 6x6 paper pad
Embellishments - Kaisercraft rhinestones
Adhesive - Tombow USA Mono Multi liquid glue and 3D Foam Tabs

Hello friend

Hi everyone!  I have a bright fun card that I sent to a friend who needed a little happy mail.  Yes, I know it's fall now, but hey not every card we make this time of year has to have fall colors and theme, right?

I had fun with this one and busted out my much neglected Carnation Creations dies!  It's no secret I favor the rose dies, but these are super cute too!  The pattern paper is My Girl from MME, such fun bright colors!
I embossed the cardstock piece on the left side with the Lovely Lattice folder and added stickles to each little flower center.  I also added a strip of Scor-Tape and some glitter, nothing says happy like lots of sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

As you hop through the blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each because we will choose a few random commenters and they will win a grab bag of Gina's products!!

First up is a cute ornament shaped tag using Fleece Navibaa.  I added lots of stickles to the sheep and liquid applique to his little hat.  I used some of my favorite ribbon. I thought it was funny to make my tag have a tag -yeah, it doesn't take much to make me chuckle.
Next up is a little 3x3 card using Cheers.  I thought this would be cute as a gift card on a bottle of Champagne.  I added lots of sparkle and bling to this with stickles, my Sakura glitter pen and rhinestones.  I inked the edges with Moonlit Fog ink..

Hi everyone!  Welcome to Day 1 of the Gina K Designs DT Inspiration Blog Hop where we hope to inspire you with many beautiful ideas for the sets released in October! As you hop through the blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each because we will choose a few random commenters and they will win a grab bag of Gina's products!
Today we are spotlighting the Season's Greetings Kit (now discontinued) The kit includes the stamp set, 24 sheets of coordinating cardstock, pattern papers, ribbons and brads!

I just love the cute Santa image and inked him up first.  I lightly colored him with copics and added liquid applique to his hat.  I stamped the sentiment in the new pigment white ink (which is amazing, btw),and paper pieced his little ornament.
My next card uses the same sentiment stamped in the new Navy ink.  I backed the snowflake die cut with strips of pattern paper, ribbon and rhinestones.  It gives it a fun look and is easy to make.
Lastly I have a really simple card using the border image stamped in the new Cranberry Tart ink and the sentiment is stamped in the new Charcoal Brown ink.
Ready for the hop?  Check out all the amazing designs and inspiration:
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the hop!  Come back tomorrow where we showcase 2 more new sets!  Here are a couple close up pictures.

New tutorial video up on the Spellbinders blog

Hi everyone!!  I am up on the Spellbinders blog today with a new video!  I changed up the way I did it and took a page from Darsie's playbook.  So the video shows me making my projects in double time with handy captions along the way.  Because of that, my video is only 4 minutes long!  Check it out if you have a chance.

Here is a peek at my projects

12 Days of CAS Christmas, Day 3

Hi everyone!!  Welcome to the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store 12 Days of CAS Christmas!  We know this is the time of the year to start mass producing our hand made Christmas cards and we are all looking for some CAS card design inspiration.  Every evening one of the team members will share their cards and you can find them all over on Sharon's blog.

I have 2 cards to share tonight.  First up is a card using the new JustRite stamp set Festive Poinsettia which coordinates with Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia die set.  I LOVE this set so many possibilities.  To make my poinsettia flowers, I die cut the cardstock first then stamped the design with GoldenGlitz Delicata ink.  Be sure to set them aside to dry, Delicata ink is a rich shiny pigment ink and takes awhile to dry.
The pattern paper is from the Kaisercraft, Christmas Carol pad and the sentiment is from JR's Christmas Antique Labels One.
Next up is a super easy card.  One of the things I love about Kaisercraft paper pads is they have 3 or 4 pages of die cuts at the back!  They have sentiment labels, blank labels and borders!  This card came together pretty quick.  I cut 2 panels of pattern paper and added a piece of velvet with gold dots ribbon across the seam.  Lastly I added some gold cord and a die cut sentiment label.  Along the top and bottom, I die cut and trimmed some red pattern paper using the Spellbinders On The Edge scallop die which added an extra step, but you could easily omit that step and keep it a straight piece.
Thanks for stopping by and may your Christmas cards be flat!!  lol!

My dad's birthday card

Hi everyone!  It's my dad's birthday in a couple weeks and this is the birthday card I made for him.  He is a no frills rancher, so I keep my cards to him very minimal.  I usually include stars and some twine and call it good -lol!

My card uses the newly released Uppercase and Lowercase Font One die sets to spell out "Dad" and my new favorite M-Bossabilities folder, Dainty Dots.  I love the simple single dot pattern and the reverse side has a really cute tiny diamond dotted pattern!
Before I go, I want to share the Dainty Dots folder designs, and this is the large format size, so you can emboss 8.5" x 11" paper.
