Super simple washi tape cards

Hi everyone!  I have a super easy challenge card to share.  First let me say, I have a washi tape problem.  Don't get me wrong, in the scheme of things having a washi tape problem is good compared to many others.  But I have WAY TOO MANY washi tape rolls and seriously don't use them enough. So when I saw this week's CAS study challenge card from the February Muse, Teri Anderson, I just knew I could use some washi tape and play along.

Here is Teri's card:
And here is my super simple washi tape card.  You can see I kept with Teri's basic design and color scheme.
I changed the stamp set used, used washi tape instead of cardstock and changed the flowers location.
My tapes are from My Mind's Eye (which happens to be the majority of my tapes) and both the sentiment and little flower are from JustRite's stamp set Grand Sentiments.  OI accented the flowers with rhinestones in aqua, orange and light pink.

I had so much fun with this card, I made another!  This one uses Prima washi tape and some Prima flowers (from the Laraine, Perles and Charme Rose packs) and I used the same stamp set, Grand Sentiments.  I adhered the washi tape near the top like my first card and then turned the paper around by accident and decided I liked it better.  So I went with it!  Happy accident I guess.
Well, that's it for now.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.  Here is a close up picture.

CAS-ual Friday stamps: more release cards

Hi everyone!  I have a couple more cards to share from the CAS-ual Friday Stamps February release.  I had such an amazing time as their February guest designer!

First up is a card using Breathe. I used papers from My Mind's Eye new Collectable "Notable" collection and some wood veneer stars.  The little scalloped border is from Spellbinders new On The Edge set.
Next is a card using Only You.  I used some more new MME Collectable collection and some mulberry flowers from my stash.
Lastly I made a tag using Beanstalks.  I stamped the tiny leaf border on the paper along the bottom and the tag with one of the sentiments (love the fonts in this set).  The papers are from Carta Bella and the adorable heart border is also from Spellbinders new On the Edge set (which is my favorite set from the last release).
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!  I'll leave you with some close up pictures.

Just like all their releases, this collection is AMAZING!  Seriously, MME can do no wrong in my opinion!
I also used a couple Spellbinders dies, the Labels Twenty 25 and the Fancy Lattice Expandabilities die on this card.
I accented it with some prima flowers from the Laraine collection which matched the pink and greens of the paper perfectly as well as some dotted sheer ribbon and silver rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.  I'll leave you with a close up picture.

CAS-ual Friday Stamps: Only You

Hi everyone!!  Welcome to the final day of CAS-ual Friday Stamps February release sneak peeks!  Today we are spotlighting the set, Only You.  This set has 11 beautiful sentiments and 5 accent images.
I accented my sentiment with a small flourish accent image and a blue rhinestone and I used some new paper from Carta Bella the "Devoted" 6x6 pad.  The rose and leaves are from Spellbinder's set, Rose Creations (another favie of mine) and I created the doily look by layering 2 Lacey Circles and embossing a circle into the larger one.  The bottom scallops are from the Classic Scallop Edgeabilities die.

Once again, be sure to check out what my fellow Guestie Glenda has made and the Girl Fridays have samples to share on the CAS-ual Friday Stamps blog, and as always, Michele will be giving away Only You to one lucky commenter on the blog, so head on over!!

Hi everyone!  I have a fun card to share today using the brand new (and super cute, if I do say so myself) stamp set and coordinating dies from JustRite Papercrafts.  These were designed by Samantha Walker and really have endless possibilities!

Here is the stamp set, Buntings and Banners:

Here are the Buntings and Button Dies:

I had a hard time deciding what to make, but ended up making a 4.25" square baby boy card.  I stamped the banner, die cut them out and then colored them in with copic markers.  I wrapped some baker's twine around the banner and attached a bow on each end.  The paper and coordinating flowers are from the Prima Zephyr collection.  Such fun happy bright colors!!
Other accents used are silver rhinestones and white wrinkled ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!  Here is a close up picture.

Hi everyone!  Welcome to Day 2 of CAS-ual Friday Stamps February release sneak peeks!  Today we are spotlighting the set, Breathe.  This set has 7 beautiful sentiments and 2 flourishes.
My card uses some new paper from MME the Collectible "Notable" 6x6 pad as well as some wood veneer tiny stars.  The roses and leaves are from Spellbinder's set, Bitty Blossoms (my go to set for roses!).  It's pretty simple, I just wanted the gorgeous sentiment to shine on it's own.

CAS-ual Friday Stamps: Beanstalks

Hi everyone!  Welcome to CAS-ual Friday Stamps February sneak peeks!  I am thrilled to be guest designing and joining Michele, her team and fellow guest designer, Glenda this month.  I really love Michele's designs and have been a fan since her first release last October.  I also had the pleasure of meeting her at CHA and have to say, she is as nice as she is beautiful!  Am I right?!?
Here is a picture of Michele with me and Glenda at CHA
Today we are peeking the set, Beanstalks.  This is a set of 5 images and 4 sentiments and is my favorite set of the release!  I know you will love it too!  I stamped the sentiment and leaves flourish and colored them with a Copic marker.  The fun, bright papers are from Fancy Pants, The Good Life 6x6 pad.
I even busted out some oldie but goodie felt flowers from my stash.  The pale green flower is actually white colored with the same Copic marker as the leaves.
Be sure to check out what Glenda has made and the Girl Fridays have samples to share on the CAS-ual Friday Stamps blog (not to be confused with the CAS-ual Friday challenge which is a different blog).  And as always, Michele will be giving away Beanstalks to one lucky commenter on the CAS-ual Friday Stamps blog, so head on over!!

Hot hot hot- with a heart

Hi everyone!  I got some new goodies in the mail and just couldn't wait to play!  When I first saw the adorable coffee stamp set, Hot Hot Hot by Fresh Squeezed Stamps, I instantly fell in love.  I love all things coffee, so this was an easy purchase for me.  I finally gave in to the Studio Calico wood veneer craze and bought some Stars, Arrows, Hearts, Alphas and Hexagons (all purchased at Simon Says Stamp)!  Add in the new My Mind's Eye Collectable collection, some Pebbles papers and I am one happy lady!

This card uses the tall latte cup image, 2 veneer hearts, an alpha veneer and papers from the Pebbles Seen and Noted 6x6 pad.  How fun are the colors in these papers?
This card is for the Simon Says Stamp challenge, Have a Heart.  I have never played along with their challenges before, but they are now a Member Company on SCS and I thought I would make some time to play along!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back on Monday where I will have a special post!!  I'll leave you with a close up picture.

Happy birthday Gina!

Hi everyone!  Welcome to a special birthday blog hop for the fabulous Gina (of Gina K Designs)!  I have had the honor of designing with Gina for over 3 years now and can say with all honesty that Gina is sweet, generous and one of the nicest people in the crafting industry.  Gina, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your family!
**** Happy birthday Gina! ****
Here is the birthday card coming your way.  I used one of my favorite stamp sets, Hello Sunshine and a piece of the new Color Companion's Fresh Asparagus double stitched ribbon.
This set is sold in both clear and rubber (I linked clear), I have the rubber version and one advantage with rubber is the ability to use markers.  To stamp the flowers, I inked the stamp with 3 colored markers and 2 on the leaves.  I finished the card with a strip of washi tape along the bottom and some yellow rhinestones.

Please check out the other DT members who have birthday wishes and cards for Gina!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the hop!  Here is a close up picture.
Card Deets:
Stamps - Hello Sunshine
Cardstock - Pure Luxury white, black and Turquoise Sea
Accessories - GKD Asparagus ribbon, Scor-Pal, yellow rhinestones, washi tape

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card using the fabulous set by JustRite Stampers called, Oh la la French Frills and the matching Spellbinders dies, French Frills.  I just love this dress form and the stamp set has 3 choices to decorate the bodice part.  Super pretty!  I used some of the new My Mind's Eye papers from the Lost and Found 3 "Ruby" pad.  Sigh, the colors just screamed Oh la la to me!!
I used quite a few Spellbinder die sets on this card.  The background is made from Lacey Circles with 2 Classic Circles embossed inside to give some texture.  The border at the bottom is from the Classic Bracket Edgeabilities, the roses are from Bitty Blossoms and the dress form and corner flourish is from French Frills.  Whew.  I busted them all out today!  lol!
