Sweet Brothers

Hi everyone!  I have another scrapbook page to share with you that I made for Spellbinders Idea Gallery.  I just love this picture of my boys.  I remember taking the picture of Daniel and it was a happy coincidence that Ryan in his car seat is in the background!
I used a combination of Labels Twenty-Six dies and Majestic Elements Marvelous Square dies, to create the background. The rolled flowers and leaves are from Bitty Blossoms and the flourishes are from Jewels Flowers and Flourishes!

Thanks for stopping by, here are a couple close up pictures.

Altered trinket box

Hi everyone!  I have a fun Mixed Media Spellbinders project to share today.  This one is a bit outside the box for me (haha).  You can find this and many other inspirational Spellbinders creations in their Idea Gallery!

I started with a wooden trinket box measuring 5¾ x 3¾ x 4".  I covered each side of the box with white linen paper.  I then added some pattern paper from FabScraps.  For the top of the bos, I layered roses from Rose Creations dies spritzed with Glimmer Mist.  I nested Standard Circles SM and Venetian Motifs dies in Silver Premium Craft Foil to create an open frame and accents from Venetian Motifs to add around the flowers. The words are from Girlie Grunge Labels sponged with gold ink.
The front uses a cut/embossed Grand Decorative Ovals One with the excess trimmed off.  And the finishing touches are a button, more Want2Scrap pearls and an accent piece from Venetian Motifs.
This project was definitely a labor or love.  It took me a LONG time (read 2 days) to work out the details on this, but I love the final result and it was well worth it!  Thanks for stopping by and here is a close up picture of the roses and flourishes details.

Mommy and Baby Cupcakes

Hi everyone!  I have a birthday card to share that uses a cutie cupcakes stamp from Stamping Bella.  How fun are these?  The stamp is called Mommy and Baby Cupcake.  I colored them with copic markers, cut out the frosting part and popped it up and I added crystal effects to the turquoise dots on the Mommy cuppie!
There are lots of Spellbinders dies on this one, I used the Classic Bracket Edgeabilities edger, Labels Sixteen, Classic Squares and Circles Nestabilities.  I used the color scheme from the fun circle paper which is from the Bo Bunny Hello Sunshine 6x6 pad.

That's it for today but before I go, I wanted too mention that Sharon from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is having a Customer Appreciation "Free Gifts for You" with purchases in increments of $50 or more.  This is going on right now through Tuesday, November 27th!  You can find the details on her blog post HERE.  Getting free stuff with purchases makes it a great time to stock up on all those ribbons you have been wanting!

Thanks for stopping by and have a Happy Thanksgiving!  I'll leave you with a close up picture.

MME November challenge -gratitude

Hi everyone!  I have a challenge card to share today.  I had a chance to play along with the My Mind's Eye November challenge which is to make a card expressing gratitude.  This gave me a chance to use some of my MME "Honey" paper and new enamel dots AND use my new stamp set, Big Thanks!
The stamp is from CAS-ual Friday's Big Thanks and the seam binding and velvet ribbons are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon store.  The sketch came from last week's Deconstructed Sketches No. 77.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!  Here is a close up picture.

Thinking of grandma

Hi everyone!  I have a Stamping Bella card to share today.  I just LOVE this percolator circle image, it totally reminds me of my grandma!  She drank coffee all day and used an old fashioned percolator just like this one.  I colored the image with my Copics and the bottom of the card was die cut with the E8-003 Triple Scallop Edgeabilities with a coordinating insert.
This one was pretty simple, just some ribbon, rhinestones and decorative pins for accents.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!  Here is a close up picture.
