I took inspiration from the strawberries. I sooo want these to be in season RIGHT NOW, but I digress! Hahaha! My card uses some Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety goodness -both the mini deck paper and the chipboard! The layout is this week's sketch from Mercy's Tuesday sketch #62. from Mercy. I got brave and finally used some of my crocheted trim from Melissa Frances and scrunched it up (not sure what the technical term is for this). I bunched up the top of the trim and stuck it to a strip of Scor-Tape. Seems to have worked pretty well. How do you all attached your scrunched trim?
The sentiment is from Verve's Thankful Accent set. To get that shape, I used a circle nestie then trimmed off the top and bottom.
So, everyone is invited to play along in the challenge!! If you do, be sure to link your creation to Mr. Linky on the HSE Blog and use CIC48 when uploading. Every week, Rachel highlighs the top 5!!I also wanted to mention there are MORE new goodies in the store!! Rachel received a shipment of...
